September12, 2007 -- ABB Automation and Phoenix Contact signed a contract about a longterm strategic cooperation concerning Profinet- and Ethernet-Technology. The intention of this partnership is to strengthen the position and to develop Profinet as a global industrial standard within the complementary business areas Process Automation (ABB) and Factory Automation (Phoenix Contact). In this partnership Phoenix Contact-subsidiary KW-Software will take responsibility for the technical integration of the Profinet-Technology.

　　9月12日消息——ABB自動化和菲尼克斯電氣簽署了一個關于涉及Profinet和Ethernet技術的長期戰略合作協議。該合作的目的是加強Profinet的地位和發展Profinet在ABB的補充業務領域“過程自動化”和菲尼克斯電氣的補充業務領域“工廠自動化”內成為一個全球工業標準。在這個合作計劃里，菲尼克斯電氣的子公司KW-Software將負責Profinet技術的技術整合。
